In Vanuatu for a Langham Preaching seminar - helping train and develop local preachers. Here with Paul Windsor and having a great time. Photo's below from our 1st 24 hours here.
It is hot and muggy - we're catching the tail end of two cyclones, one of which is devastating Fiji as I type. Please be praying for this week that it will see men and women catching a vision for God's Word to be taught well and communicated in ways that are culturally real and relevant.

Eracor Island is the scene of much past missionary endeavour. It is now a tourist resort. In among the beach huts and the bar are the graves of Amanda Bruce and her children. It was great to be in a place of such significance so soon after arriving in the country.
The first missionaries though were not of European extraction but rather men from Samoa.
They gave their lives and received here an earthly marker which will not compare with the crown of righteousness through all eternity.
Needless to say: loving it here and finding it challenging and rewarding and the real work of training and teaching preachers is just about to begin. Please pray for our time with them that this will change a nation and that we who are here to contribute will also be changed by God’s grace at work in us.
